THE VAGABONDS;;


For years, the two packs of Somber, Svajen and Verus, have lived in peace. The ceremonies to the gods have came and went without any real problems. It stayed that way for awhile, until one day when a ceremony to Xydros went all wrong. A group of Svajen wolves were making a sacrifice to the fire god, ignoring the building storm that raged above them. Dark gray clouds were ominously hanging in the sky, thunder clapped violently, and lightning illuminated the whole landscape for a few brief seconds. As the ceremony continued, one of the wolves noticed that the lightning was getting dangerously close to where they were.

"Maybe we should hurry," The wolf spoke to his leader. The leader of the group, a large gray wolf looked at his companion in disgust.
"Nonsense, Rizu. We cannot rush this ceremony."
As soon as this sentence was uttered, a flash of lightning appeared before them, striking a large oak tree, severing its trunk, making it crash to the ground. Yet, the falling tree was not the only sound to be heard. Terrible shrieks of pain emitted from the maw of the leading wolf. His body was crushed underneath the bulk of the tree, and soon, the life was sucked out of him, and he lay silent. The other wolves in the group were horrified. They took this as an omen from Sheridae. What were they doing wrong? Did this mean that other wolves were to die in the future? Grief-stricken, and silent from shock, the group headed back to the pack, where they told their story.

"Sheridae tells us that wolves shall die in the future!" The leader of the pack announced to his followers. The whole pack shifted around nervously, hanging on the words of their leader.
"We must prepare for great loss!" He continued in a gutteral tone.
The pack collectively shuddered. Death seemed to hang over them, and it was a chilling reminder of the early days of Rylu.

As soon as the pack was dismissed, the alpha male of the pack decided to scour the territory for any signs of danger, a patrol of three others with him.

These wolves, including the alphas, never came back.

The death of their leader caused the pack to panic, but all the panic washed away in suspicion when a group of three wolves came into the territory. The Verus Pack have also gotten three visitors.

These visitors call themselves the "Vagabonds". No wolf knows who these mysterious newcomers are...after all, the just appeared one day. Desperate for a leader, the Svajen Pack picks one of these Vagabonds to step up as leader.

He says his name is Avaalith.

Some say that this dark, cold, yet incredibly persuasive wolf could be the downfall of the Svajen Pack.

Some say that this wolf is exactly what they need.

The Verus Pack has also elected a new leader from the group of Vagabonds, since their alpha mysteriously vanished a couple days before...

The leaders of the packs are using the other wolves they brought along with them as their betas.

Both packs have cooperated so far...

Yet, there is one question to ask.

Is the worst yet to come?
